Humpday Confessions

Holy Humpday…Its Wednesday already!  It doesn’t get any better than this! Except when you consider that its actually my Thursday, because this chic has Friday off! That’s right…Monday and Friday off in the same week. Hola! 

I can’t believe it is September already. I know that people say this all the time, but this year really IS flying. I seriously don’t know what has happened to the first 8 months of this year!! I mean, lots of fun stuff, obviously. But really, what in the heck have I gotten accomplished!?  I have been SOOO busy (which is awesome) that I feel like there has been very little time to just..be, ya know?  Meh..thats what fall is for I guess, relaxing and comfy!

~ I am having a hard time at work these days. I feel like I never want to be here when I am here. Which I know seems like a pretty common thing, but for me, its not. I am normally pretty okay with being at work, as long as its only 8 hrs a day. But lately, like I just can’t get into it. I am uber distracted, and find it hard to concentrate on anything work related. I don’t know if its just life getting in the way, or if I am in some sort of 4-year itch, or if I just need to consider a change!? I hope its not the latter, I dunno where I will find a job that has great hours, decent pay, awesome co-workers and is super flexible. Hope it gets better.

~ My youngest cousin, Morgan..well, youngest first cousin, as opposed to my cousins kids, who I still refer to as ‘cousins.’ Anyways..my itty bitty, little red-haired precious little cousins played in his first HIGH SCHOOL football game last Friday night. Ahh..I cant believe he is so old, or, maybe that I am so old.

~ Fall truly is my favorite time of year! I love everything about it, and can’t wait for the crispy cool air to get here. You know what I mean!!!  Bonfires, Hoodies, S’mores, Pumpkin everything, Reading under a blankie, Burning Leaves, Yay!!!

~ If my little sister doesn’t get engaged soon, I may just give her a ring myself!!!  (PS…I realize that if I am impatient she has GOT to be losing her mind!) She has been with her b/f for nearly SIX years (like..6 years in November) and he bought a ring LAST year! Last November, actually and has never given it to her! He has had EVERY opportunity..holidays, birthdays, VALENTINE’s Day, the day they got their puppy, the day they closed on their house, the day they moved in….shall I keep going!?  Anyhoo, its about freaking time! They have talked about their ‘wedding’…who will be in it, when, where, colors. Good Grief! Not to mention, in February, I was so sure it was going to happen (because he SAID it would,) that I bought an engagement gift…its still in my closet!

~ Oh yeah, speaking of Fall, I may have already had a pumpkin cheesecake mixer from Culvers! I didn’t even know that they had these! My absolute fave for fall is Ben and Jerrys Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream, but its pretty tough to come by until November and then is gone by December! So this is a good alternative. (Read: A pretty good way to gain 10 lbs)
